ECC - Faculty & Staff

The library staff welcomes you to ECC Library. As an employee, you are eligible for library privileges. These privileges allow you to check out books, multimedia, and equipment from the library, use our extensive digital collection of databases, ebooks, audiobooks, and journals on and off campus, receive information, orientations, and training support from the ECC library staff.

This guide provides an orientation to the library, including our services and resources. You can navigate using the left-side navigation bar. And if you have questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

ECC Libraries are open five days a week, in the Fall & Spring semester. We are open four days a week in the summer.

Most libraries have:

• computers
• a printer
• a photocopier
• study rooms

You can check out books, equipment, and DVDs. To get a library card, come to the library with your ECC ID and the staff will register you in our system. If you find that we don't have a book on the subject you need, then we can request one from another library. This service is called Interlibrary Loan, and you can do it from home. If you have an extra textbook we can put it on reserve for your class to come to the library to use the resource.
